India used in Rangoon, Burma, with the All-India Type VI cancellation.
For this cancellation (surely one of the world's most effective and most hideous),
the year date was considered unnecessary and therefore omitted. This gave rise to
many disputes and inconveniences before the it was restored in the 1880's.
The year of this cover was determined by a Liverpool arrival mark on the back.
